This page contains several links to the documents you need to get started. The connection manual contains the Simplified Interconnection Application on page 24, which is required for most private clients to connect to our distribution system. Before interconnection, you must have submitted all necessary documents and requests. We also need to inspect your facility, perhaps modify your meter and have written permission from the National Electricity Inspector. Another document is New Mexico`s PRC 570 rule, which describes the credit you would get if you produced more electricity than you consume in a given billing period. This credit is in line with KCE`s avoided costs, which will be submitted to the PRC in January of each year.
