Palestinian farmers who have cultivated land that has been in their family for generations are now being forced to move due to the creation of a new settlement. In 1967 Israel annexed Al Walaja (the land owned by farmers) and made them part of the Jerusalem municipality in the 1970s, thereby denying the farmers legal access to their own farms.
