Boroka is currently pursuing a Master in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute Geneva, with a specialisation in power and conflict. Prior to this, she studied French and Spanish at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. During her undergraduate studies, she spent one year living and working in Guanajuato, Mexico, where she taught English as a foreign language. She also volunteered in a local community, where she developed empowerment activities for young women, encouraging them to pursue further education. Boroka spent three months interning at the UNHCR in Budapest, where she worked in the data management unit. Having been brought up in a dual nationality household, Boroka has acquired an international outlook and enjoys adapting to multicultural environments. She is passionate is about promoting gender equality, and is very excited about her fellowship!
