According to SUN`s website, the contract with SAHO expired on March 31, 2018. The union represents more than 10,000 registered nurses, psychiatric nurses and nurses in the province. But we still did not have a collective agreement. Then we started negotiating. I think it was July 1st, we got our agreement.

Details of the new collective agreement between SUN and SAHO will be published after ratification by both parties. In a press release on Monday, SAHO said it had reached an agreement with the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN). On Friday, SAHO announced that it had reached an agreement with SEIU-West. The announcement comes shortly after SEIU-West announced that an interim agreement had been reached with its SAHO on 20 November. The Saskatchewan government said the contract was a new milestone in securing a new collective agreement with a single provincial health authority.
