Pleased to learn there people out there who have a heart of salvaging our fast receding natural resources.The case does not only apply in Congo but
you would be sorry if you visited Kenyan forests the
major river catchments and you would wonder where the next generation will be.I would be glad if you

Recently, it would seem that the formation of camps is necessary, as the numbers of IDP continues to grow daily. Attacks have occurred along the main road between Uvira and Bukavu in the villages of Runingu and Sange, and people are really at a loss on how to support all of the IDPs converging on town.

Very informative, Ned. I’m very interested in the ordinary folks and how they put up with this nonsense. Also, I’d like more on the women who are served by SOS Femmes, and The South Kivu association. Is it possible to get some video of the two ladies and something on their beneficiaries? Be an interesting counterpoint to the Washington appearance! Keep up the great work…

This is a useful role for Atrche – helping NGOs understand the scope and needs of IDPs. But should the international agencies be putting people in camps – and creating some depencdency – or helping them return to their homes ASAP?
