Helah Robinson graduated in May 2009 from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University with a degree in International Politics. Her concentration was international institutions, ethics and law, she pursued an International Development certificate and wrote a senior honors thesis that explored the gender implications of the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper development initiative in Sub-Saharan Africa. In Spring 2008, Helah studied in Dakar, Senegal for five months, traveled to Guinea and the Gambia and volunteered with the African Assembly for the Defense of Human Rights (La Rencontre Africaine pour la Défénse des Droits de l’Homme-RADDHO) while abroad.
