Fanny, thank you for giving a voice to those who suffer from domestic violence. I worked in Gospic, Croatia, which was probably the 2nd most devastated part of Croatia after Vukovar. Domestic violence and alcoholism were rampant but no one wanted to talk about it. One day at a county meeting, the director of social services said, The violence against women and children here is a direct result of the war. Everyone was silent–the head of the county, the chief of police, the mayors…This woman had the courage to say what everyone knew. Have you contacted the OSCE in Belgrade for project support? Please write to me if you need any help with that. I worked in the Balkans for seven years. Vranje is a tough spot.

nous sommes fiers de toi : mettre en lumière les victimes de l’ombre, en parler autour de toi, faire savoir, c’est déjà un petit bout d’une réponse, un petit chemin qui se taille dans les esprits, une porte ouverte sur autre chose autrement.
persévère. C’est difficile surement, moralement usant, mais aidant pour Dusica et ses consoeurs.
