Lizzy, you seem to be acquiring some awesome relationships and knowledge about your project and initiative. I am trying to follow along but there is SO much that it's hard so I hope I am not commenting on something you have covered. I am excited about the positive things you all are pursuing but I am curious about community participation. 'Community' can mean many things but I'm wondering how much input comes from victims (survivors of course), victims' families/friends, and/or concerned citizens. I try to remain conscious when doing research or working on projects to make efforts to include the community and ensure that the work is not 'top-down' as we learned in class together. Hopefully this won't burden you with more questions than you've already been asking. I think the work is meaningful!
