This is a very interesting blog – full of good, but very scary stuff. I hope you can get it out of your blog and up on the Internet (CECORE wiki?)… I’m struck by the fact that gun violence seems part of a larger culture of violence against women. This is going to be a long haul, but you’re starting to give us a good sense of the challenge. Good job…!

This is really exciting. Great work! And don’t worry about the shaky camera: Rose is rock solid! Mind you, you all have your work cut out if domestic armed violence is seen as “normal.”

Great work Courtney. The statistics that you provided were shocking to me. From what you wrote it appears to be that prominent issue to address is that of moral recognition. In that these women need to recognize and understand that they do not deserve to be beaten and should thus not tolerate such cruelty.
