Abhilash is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Development Studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to beginning his studies at LSE, Abhilash was working as an Assistant Systems Engineer with Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai, India. He holds a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, India.
Abhilash has worked as a volunteer for Child Rights and You in Mumbai, India where he raised awareness about anti-child labour legislations introduced by the Government of India, helped build alliances against child labour, helped seek out micro-credit schemes for women living in an urban slum and participated in a campaign to improve their access to public distribution programmes.
