A Voice For the Voiceless

The Advocacy Project helps marginalized communities to tell their story, claim their rights and produce social change.

We are currently recruiting graduate students to volunteer as Peace Fellows with partners.

The Impact of Service

"I look at myself as having the potential to be as strong and caring as the amazing women I met in Kenya."

Kate Cummings (Tufts University) volunteered in 2009 as a Peace Fellow for Vital Voices in Africa.

The Uterine Prolapse Alliace and AP are committed to social justice and offer several ways for interested individuals to support the The Uterine Prolaspe Initiative. Email us for more information!

Host an Event: The AP team can help you to organize an event at your university, business, or community center. Contact Alison for more information.

Build the Network
: AP is developing a constituency of universities, high schools, teachers, diaspora organizations and committed individuals (including past AP Peace Fellows) to support the UPA Initiative. Email Meggan to join.

Organize an Event
: AP can offer a wide range of tools to be used for outreach, meetings and events. We have a great deal of information about UPA and its campaigns and can provide speakers, visiting delegations, Peace Fellows, movies, photos, and video footage.

Lobby: AP organizes lobbying and advocacy on UPA’s behalf in order to generate support for their campaigns.

Raise Funds
: AP raises funds for partners in ways that are informative, exciting and rewarding. Please visit our Give section and support AP and the UPA.

Volunteer: AP relies on volunteers!  Apply for a Peace Fellowship to work in Nepal with UPA. It is also possible to intern or volunteer at the AP office in Washington, DC. Join our network and organize an event.  Follow Libby Abbott's blog and Nicole Farkouh's blog
