The Research Center on Environment, Democracy, and Human Rights (Centre de recherche sur l’Environnement, la Démocratie et les Droits de l’Homme/CREDDHO) advocates for peaceful co-existence, good governance, and human rights in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Established in Goma, North Kivu, in 1998, CREDDHO documented, monitored, and reported on the human rights violations, which resulted from the civil war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). CREDDHO now works to hold the elected government officials accountable for their promises to end corruption and end human rights violations.
