Community-based Partners

AP seeks to work directly with groups that represent constituencies of disempowered people and advocate for social justice at the community level. We are particularly committed to helping groups that are at an early stage in their institutional development. We do not focus on particular areas or issues. Instead, we argue that all community-based advocates have common strengths, and a common need for information, no matter where they live and work.

We currently have partners in:

We offer several services aimed at helping partners to produce, disseminate and use information. All AP partners are given their own page on the AP website, regardless of whether this leads to further services. AP’s partnerships are open-ended. While we welcome inquiries about new partnerships, our resources are extremely limited. Would-be partners are urged to consult our criteria for partnership.

FIND A PARTNER

The Advocacy Project develops partnerships with advocates on the frontline and with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). In so doing, we take our cue from partners and tailor any support to their needs.
