Dissemination

The Advocacy Project offers community-based human rights advocates an opportunity to disseminate their information through an online news service, AdvocacyNet, and the AP website.

The AP website is intended to help partners disseminate their information by posting information on their own customized pages. This service aims in particular to serve partner organizations that do not yet have their own site. We hope to work with partners to develop these pages further in the months ahead.

AdvocacyNet takes material from partners and turns them into news bulletins, which are then sent out to more than 6,000 subscribers. AP bulletins seek to profile innovative models of community-based advocacy and also report on community campaigns. See below for recent bulletins and visit the Resources section where past bulletins are organized by country and by date.

To subscribe to AP's news service, send a blank email to advocacynet-subscribe@advocacylists.org.

For more information on this service, contact Heather Ratcliff, Information Manager.

FIND A PARTNER

The Advocacy Project develops partnerships with advocates on the frontline and with nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). In so doing, we take our cue from partners and tailor any support to their needs.
